Licence category, years without an accident, and the routes you know. Everything else is secondary.

A driver CV is filtered on one line first: your licence category. Put it next to your name, exactly as it is printed on your licence card. Then give your record as numbers — years driving, kilometres, no at-fault accidents — because 'safe driver' is what every applicant writes. The example above does both. The same format works for a driver job in Nepal, and for a driver CV for the Gulf — UAE, Qatar or Saudi Arabia — where the passport details also matter.

Driver CV for freshers
If you have your licence but no job driving yet, list the driving you have done: for family, for a relative's shop, for a local delivery. Say which vehicle and roughly how long. Put the licence category and issue date right at the top, and add a driving training centre certificate if you have one. For an overseas job, include your passport details and say you are ready to take the local test.

Common questions
What should a driver CV include?
Your licence category and number exactly as printed on your card, years of driving and vehicle types, the routes you know, your safety record in numbers, and for jobs abroad your passport details.
How do I write a CV for a driver job in UAE, Qatar or Saudi Arabia?
Use the same format and add your passport number and expiry, any GCC driving licence, and the languages you speak. State the vehicle types you can drive and your years on the road plainly — agencies shortlist on those lines.
Which licence category should I write on my CV?
Write every category you hold, exactly as it appears on your licence card, with its issue and expiry date. Do not describe a category you do not hold — employers check the card.
