A caregiver CV lists care tasks as tasks — transfers, feeding, bathing, medication reminders, care records — because 'caring and kind' is on every caregiver CV and proves nothing. The example above does that and keeps home care and care-home experience separate. For a caregiver job abroad, the language certificate goes beside the training: for Japan's caregiving route, language and skills tests are part of the requirement, and agencies check them first.

Caregiver CV for freshers
A caregiver CV with no experience leads with the training: the course name, hours and provider, plus first aid and any language certificate. If you have looked after an elderly or disabled family member, that is real experience; say what you did and for how long. Agencies placing caregivers abroad shortlist on training hours, language level and physical fitness, so put those near the top.

Common questions
How do I write a caregiver CV with no experience?
Lead with your caregiver training, hours and provider, add first aid and any language certificate, and describe any care you have given a family member as experience, with the tasks and duration.
What skills should a caregiver put on a CV?
Safe transfers, bathing and personal hygiene, feeding and special diets, dementia care, medication reminders, care records and first aid — listed as tasks, not personality traits.
What does a caregiver CV for Japan need?
Your caregiver training, your Japanese language level and any caregiving skills test you have passed, alongside passport details. For Japan's caregiving route these tests are part of the requirement, so place them near the top.
