A biodata (बायोडाटा) is a CV with a personal particulars table at the top — date of birth, gender, nationality, marital status, father's name, and permanent and temporary address. Many Nepali offices, cooperatives, schools and government-linked jobs still ask for one, and a बायोडाटा नमुना like the example above is what they expect. A biodata for a job is not the same as a marriage biodata, and it is not a modern CV: it adds the particulars and a self-declaration, and otherwise follows the same order.

Biodata CV format
The sections, in the order an employer reads them.
- Name and post applied for — Your name at the top, with the post you are applying for.
- Personal particulars — Date of birth (BS or AD), gender, nationality, marital status, father's name, permanent and temporary address with municipality and ward.
- Contact — Mobile number and email.
- Education — Each level with board or university, year and division or GPA, most recent first.
- Work experience — Each job with organisation, post and dates.
- Trainings and skills — Computer, typing (Preeti and Unicode), accounts or trade trainings.
- Self-declaration — A line confirming the details are true, with your signature and the date — many offices still expect it.

Two to adapt — change the numbers and names to yours. A career objective, or summary, is the two or three lines under your name.
With experience
BBS graduate with two years as an accounts assistant in a savings and credit cooperative, handling daily entries in Tally, bank reconciliation and monthly reports. Looking for an assistant accountant post.
For a fresher
+2 or bachelor's graduate with computer and Nepali and English typing skills, looking for a first post in an office, cooperative or school where I can work carefully and learn quickly.

A biodata for freshers has the same particulars table, then education in full — SEE, +2 and bachelor's with board, year and grade — since it is your main section. Add any computer or typing training with the institute. Leave out a citizenship number unless the vacancy asks for it, and do not add a photo unless it is requested.
