How this mock is like the real CEE
- MEC's blueprint, unit by unit. Human biology and physiology has its 15 questions, physical and organic chemistry 17 each, modern physics 12 — every unit of the April 2026 syllabus gets exactly its share.
- A booklet and an answer sheet. The questions have no buttons, as the printed booklet has none; you answer by filling a circle on the sheet. On a phone, the sheet's row for the question you are reading waits at the foot of the screen.
- MEC's rules. 3 hours on a clock that keeps running if you leave, −0.25 a wrong answer, and with real rules on a filled circle cannot be changed — "do not alter or erase".
- Pen and paper, if you want them. Print the booklet and the sheet, sit it at a desk, and mark it here afterwards.
- Questions at MEC's levels: half recall, 30% understanding, 20% application, as the syllabus tells setters, with no stem over 60 words.
The subjects run Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Physics, then MAT, in the order of MEC's syllabus. We have not seen a real booklet to confirm the order it prints them in.
What you get after the paper
- Your score out of 200, right, wrong and blank, marked exactly as MEC marks it.
- A table by subject, and the units that cost you most — each with a button to practise just that unit.
- What guessing your blanks would have added on average, and why guessing pays under −0.25.
- Every question again with the right answer and why, filtered to the ones you got wrong.
Common questions
Is this CEE mock test free?
Yes, with no account and no fee. The paper, the marking and the explanations all run on your own phone or computer, and your answers stay there.
Is it like the real CEE exam?
It follows MEC's April 2026 syllabus exactly: 200 single-best-answer questions with four options, 3 hours, −0.25 for a wrong answer, and each unit's number of questions as MEC sets it. You read in a booklet and fill circles on a separate answer sheet, and with real rules on a filled circle cannot be changed, as MEC's sheet says. The questions are ours, not MEC's.
How many questions are in the CEE mock test?
200: Zoology 40, Botany 40, Chemistry 50, Physics 50 and the Mental Agility Test 20, the split for MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, BSc Midwifery, BASLP and B Perfusion Technology.
Does the mock test have negative marking?
Yes, as the real one does since 2082: +1 for a right answer, −0.25 for a wrong one, nothing for a blank. The result also shows what guessing your blanks would have added on average.
Can I print the CEE mock test?
Yes. Print the booklet and the answer sheet, sit the paper at a desk with a black pen for 3 hours, then open this page, choose "Mark my sheet" and copy your circles across. It is marked the same way.
Are these past CEE questions?
No. MEC does not publish its papers, and the sets that circulate as past questions are coaching material written from memory. Every question here is written for this site from MEC's syllabus, unit by unit, with its answer explained.
Is there a mock test for B Pharm, BAMS or MLT?
Not yet. Their paper (II) has 40 Chemistry and 40 Physics questions instead of 50, and 20 from the program's diploma subject. Paper I's Zoology, Botany and MAT are the same, so this mock covers most of it.
